CANbeam – The new digital extra light wiring for automatic control of additional lights

CANbeam is a Swedish-made digital extra light wiring that offers perfect integration with the vehicle’s high beam automation. It is designed to work with modern vehicles’ CAN-bus controlled adaptive LED high beams, bi-xenon, and similar systems. CANbeam enables the extra lights to automatically follow the vehicle’s high beam function, meaning that the extra lights turn on and off simultaneously with the vehicle’s original high beams, entirely without manual control. This solution is one of the few on the market that allows the use of high beam automation even for retrofitted extra lights and LED bars. CANbeam meets the automotive industry’s high quality standards for aftermarket electronics, and the components maintain the same high standard as the vehicle’s original equipment.

Installation:
The installation of CANbeam is easy in the engine compartment or in the wheel arch on some vehicles, meaning no installation needs to be done inside the cabin or through the firewall. To connect the system, the correct CAN cables are identified, and CANbeam’s connection cables are soldered together with these.

Installation instructions:
Can High: White
Can Low: Yellow

As an alternative, a traditional switch can be used and connected to the brown wire. This should then go to 12v+

The maximum permitted load is 13A (156W at 12v). For higher loads, a separate reinforcement wiring must be installed; otherwise the CANbeam may be damaged.
