CANbeam Reverse – The new digital reverse light wiring for automatic control of the reverse lights

CANbeam Reverse is a Swedish-made digital reverse light wiring that offers perfect integration with the car’s original system. It is developed to work with modern vehicles where the reverse light is controlled via the CAN bus, LED technology, or similar advanced solutions.

With CANbeam Reverse, the reverse lights are activated completely automatically when the car is put into reverse gear. Thanks to the smart signal reading via the vehicle’s CAN bus, there is no need for a separate switch or manual connection – the system operates by itself and follows the car’s original function.

This solution is one of the few on the market that allows for easy and reliable use of the vehicle’s existing reverse light function even when retrofitting additional reverse lights or work lighting.

Installation:
The installation of CANbeam takes place easily in the engine compartment or in the wheel arch on certain vehicles, meaning no installation needs to be done inside the cabin or through the fire wall. To connect the system, the correct CAN wires are identified and CANbeam’s connection wires are soldered together with these.

Installation instructions:
Can High: White
Can Low: Yellow

Alternatively, a traditional switch can be used and connected to the brown wire. This should then go to 12v+

Maximum allowable load is 13A (156W at 12V). For higher loads, a separate reinforcement wiring must be installed; otherwise, CANbeam may be damaged.
