CANbeam – The new digital extra light wiring harness for automatic control of extra lights

CANbeam is a Swedish-made digital extra light wiring harness that offers a very high degree of integration with the vehicle’s high beam automation. It is designed to work with modern vehicles’ CAN bus-controlled adaptive LED high beams, bi-xenon, and similar systems.

In most cases, CANbeam enables the extra lights to automatically follow the vehicle’s high beam function – meaning the extra lights are turned on and off simultaneously with the vehicle’s original high beams, completely without manual control.

CANbeam meets the automotive industry’s high quality standards for aftermarket electronics, and the components are held to the same high standard as the vehicle’s original equipment.

Installation:
The installation of CANbeam is simple in the engine compartment or in the wheel arch on certain vehicles, meaning no installation needs to be done inside the cabin or through the bulkhead. To connect the system, the correct CAN cables are identified and CANbeam’s connection cables are soldered together with these.

Installation instructions:
Can High: White
Can Low: Yellow

Alternatively, a traditional switch can be used and connected to the brown wire. This should then go to 12v+

Maximum allowable load is 13A (156W at 12v). For higher loads, a separate reinforcement wiring harness must be installed, otherwise, CANbeam will be damaged.
