This cable extension with built-in power resistor is adapted for 7-pin connectors and solves common problems that occur when trailers with LED tail lights, indicators or brake lights are connected to vehicles with traditional electrical systems. The adapter simulates the properties of a light bulb, which means that the car perceives the LED lights as normal lights. This prevents lights from flashing, lighting up inexplicably or the car from displaying error messages due to the low power consumption of LEDs. It works great for caravans, horse transporters, trailers and more and has a cable length of 20 cm. The product is intended for 12V systems and is sold individually. Please note that the adapter overrides the car's check function for broken lights, and that it is not compatible with vehicles that have pulse-controlled electrical systems, such as the SAAB 9-3 (2003–2012) and some Opel Vectra models.
