2-pole Deutsch DT connectors are designed for connecting electrical accessories such as work lights, flashing lights, auxiliary lights and other exposed components. They are suitable for all voltages and come complete with rubber seals, pins, locking wedges and mounting hardware. When assembled correctly, the connectors achieve an IP67 rating, providing protection against dust and water.

Plug is normally mounted on the vehicle's electrical cables, while the receptacle is mounted on the accessory to be connected. These connectors, sometimes called Deutz or Deuts, are found as original equipment on many trucks and construction equipment, including Volvo, as well as on work lights from VisionX and Rigid Industries. The pin size is 16 and the original number for the receptacle is DT042-CE02. The product is sold individually.

Assembly with the special tool DT4120 is carried out according to the following steps:

Strip the cable approximately 4 mm and thread onto the connector pin.

Place the pin and cable in the mounting pliers and press together.

Slide the rubber gasket over the pressed contact pin.

Insert the contact pins into the plastic housing until they click into place (the positive conductor is normally on the right side when viewed from the front of the plug).

Press in the locking wedge.

Press the rubber gasket into the back of the connector.
