Product information

Many modern vehicles lack a traditional 12V high beam plus signal, making it challenging to install auxiliary lights without specialist knowledge. The CanM8 CANBUS interface is a revolutionary solution that listens to the car's internal data communication (CAN bus) and generates a stable, analogue plus signal when the high beam is activated.

Thanks to the included inductive reader cable, you don't need to cut, strip or solder any cables in the vehicle's original system - preventing future troubleshooting and preserving the warranty.

When the interface detects that the high beam is on, a +12V signal is sent that can be used to any auxiliary light relay, such as our SEEB093-2A or SEEB093-3A wiring harness. This gives you full control over the auxiliary lights, even in cars where this would otherwise be technically impossible.

The unit also has status LEDs that show when the correct signal is being received, making installation easier to verify. It is also radio interference (EMC)-suppressed and built to withstand the vehicle environment.
